FIRE RETARDANT INFORMATION

FS I-DS is used in commercial applications such as hotels, casinos,
retaurants, nightclubs, apartments, schools, theatres, etc...

FS I-DS is a highly concentrated pyrolytic formulation that prevents the spread of flame by developing a self extinguishing reaction, This product is a clear penetrating chemical which incorporates a surfactant formulation that allows the chemical to penetrate through existing layers of paint or satin and wood up to 1/4" deep.

FS I-DS can be applied as is by spraying or immersing. LET CURE FOR A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS BEFORE TESTING.

FS I-DS is an interior / exterior formula used on hard to penetrate materials such as open cell and closed cell foams, insulation, hardwoods, cypress wood, thatching, bamboo, pressure treated wood and most synthetics.

FS I-DS has many uses. This product bonds with the molecular structure of the material thus becoming a part of it. Tests for this product include FAA approvals, foam tests, thatching. FS I-DS is also a preservative and friendly to the environment.

FS I-DS has been tested to the following standards. U.S. TESTING Title 4 #LA 63494 (ETHER FOAM), CA Reg. #C-14401 NFPA 701 Omegas Point Laboratories #8924-89133 (REED THATCHING) FAA approval, FAR 25.853 (POLYURETHANE FOAM). Airline fabricare, Omega Points Laboratory ASTM E-84, UL 723. A' one coat system, Class "A" Rated. All testing was performed using single-coated materials. Shelf life: 2-3 years.
